William

Will founded Book Analysis back in 2020 to help others understand and enjoy books, just like he does. After studying an A Level in English Literature, Will completed Masters degree in Automotive Engineering and now works full time on Book Analysis, and similar sites alike.

Ever since Will was young, he has had a keen interest in literature, particularly deep literature and poetry. This led him to complete an A Level in English Literature, studying classics like '1984' and poetry classics from Kipling, Auden, and more. He also particularly found 'Billy' by Albert French an incredible read, one he would recommend to anyone. Although Will's Masters was in engineering, he continues his passion for literature, especially helping to make Book Analysis as great as possible. If there is anyone to contact if you have any feedback or questions about Book Analysis, Will's your guy!

Will appreciates literature that contains deep messages through it. This is why he particularly found 'Billy' by Albert French thought-provoking, as well as comparing it to the dystopian world of '1984.'

Quizzing the Author

What one tip would you give any literature fanatic?

Hang in there. Don't give up on reading. It is always worth it in the end (just like a good jog)! Think about what the author is trying to portray through the medium of his book.

What helps you understand books?

Taking breaks inbetween chapters to let the mind ponder and think. Sometimes, the best thoughts about a book come after reading it, not during it.

Tell us a funny story about you and literature.

During my younger years, I was addicted to Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events - to this day, I'm still struggling to understand why. The author would tell the reader to stop reading, because the book is sad and depressing. Still, I read all of the books, and still wonder what on earth made me so passionate about a series of books that genuinely had very little joy - Lemony Snicket, to some extent, is a genius author!
