As he is not as cruel as his older brother Joffrey, many believe he will be a good king.
Though Tommen is kind, he is naive and easily swayed by others because of his kindness and age. When he was younger, Joffrey would hurt him emotionally by killing his pets. Tommen is also a mildly great dancer and is intensely scared of Sandor Clegane, the Hound.

Tommen Baratheon: The Kind Boy
Tommen Baratheon is one of the kindest characters in A Song of Ice and Fire. As he was the opposite of his brother, Joffrey, he was much more likable. Tommen was a sheep caught among wolves. With a mother who cared more for her viciously-cruel son than him, he became a puppet used for his mother’s nefarious deeds.
