Plutarch Heavensbee

Plutarch Heavensbee is the Head Gamemaker of the 75th Hunger Games (Third Quarter Quell). He replaces Seneca Crane who was the Head Gamemaker of the 74th Hunger Games.

Lucy Gray Baird

Lucy Gray Baird is protagonist of the Hunger Games prequel, “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”. She is the female tribute from District 12 in the 10th Hunger Games. She develops a deep bond with her mentor, Coriolanus Snow, who later goes on to become the tyrannical President of Panem.

Buttercup

Buttercup is Primrose Everdeen’s cat. Prim rescued Buttercup and brought him home to be raised by her family.

Katniss (The Plant)

The Katniss (Scientific name: Sagittaria sagittifolia) is an aquatic flowering plant found in parts of District 12.

Seneca Crane

Seneca Crane is the Head Gamemaker for the 74th Hunger Games. As such, Crane is in charge of designing the arena and the gameplay for the Games in which Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark are chosen as tributes.

Clove

Clove is the female tribute from District 2 and a secondary antagonist in The Hunger Games. Although she looks like a little girl, she is deadly with knives and is one of the most dangerous tributes in the arena.

Cato

Cato is the male tribute from District 2 in the 74th Hunger Games. His district partner is Clove, a 15-year-old girl from District 2. He is Katniss’s main competition in the first book.

Tigris Snow

Tigris Snow is Coriolanus Snow’s cousin and a prized stylist for the Hunger Games. She is an acquaintance of Plutarch Heavensbee and Cressida.

Haymitch Abernathy

Haymitch Abernathy is the sole living victor of District 12. Having won the 50th Hunger Games, he works as a mentor to tributes from District 12 for 24 years.

Mrs. Everdeen

Mrs. Everdeen is Katniss Everdeen’s mother in the “Hunger Games” trilogy by Suzanne Collins. At the death of her husband, she becomes incapable of working or caring for her two children.
