Michael Chude has years of experience writing flash fiction and reviewing books with his book club members. He is also an avid reader who loves great stories and extensive world-building.

Michael, a graduate from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has always been an avid reader and a lover of the written word. He started his writing journey by writing flash fiction on Facebook, taking part in writing competitions. In 2016, Michael and a friend co-founded Liber Book Club in Enugu, Nigeria. The club met bi-monthly to discuss and analyze books by African and international authors.

The best way to enjoy a new book is to be patient with the characters, the story's development, and its tempo.

The author's exposition of the characters and the progression of the storyline is key to understanding any book.

Tell us a funny story about you and literature.

As a child I read everything that had words on it, from books to product descriptions on packages, and prescription leaflets. I was designated as the family's Reader, and would be called to read aloud letters and descriptions, especially for my grandparents.
