The Little Prince

The Little Prince‘ was released in France on the 29th of July 2015. It tells the story of Mackenzie Foy, a girl who is reintroduced into a world where she rediscovers her childhood and herself, and learns that it is human connections that are matters of consequence and that, more often than not, what is within is more important than what is without.

Very much like the case of the little prince and the young man, where they both learn a great deal from each other, even though it is the young man who clearly had a lot of learning and unlearning to do. With so much contempt and reservations for the grown-ups, he barely takes notice of the fact that he was fast becoming what he hates. His experience in the desert in Africa helps correct this. He learns the value of friendship. He learns what should and what should not be matters of consequence.

The aviator and the girl enjoy each other’s company. They learn from each other. The girl learns, unlearns, and relearns.

The Little Prince‘ is an animation directed by Mark Osborne and produced by Dimitri Rassam, Aton Soumache, and Alexis Vonarb. It is a moving starring a host of actors, including Bob Persichetti and Irena Bring. 77.5 million USD were budgeted for this movie which ended up making $97.5 million at Box Office.
